Winnie

It is quite rare to hear from owners who will be getting a puppy in a couple of months and want to pre-book a puppy class!

As a trainer, this is music to my ears! It is common to only hear from people when they have a problem or when the dog has got to adolescence and the dog hasn't done any training and has little skills. 

Winnie joined us as a tiny little puppy and her wonderful owners have been exceptionally dedicated to her. 

She has excelled at every level, so much so, I regularly use them as my demo team. 

Romeo

I was contacted by Romeo's owner for help after they had adopted him from a rescue. The owners were concerned as he was nervous around other dogs.

As he was a rescue, we will never know his emotional experience due to not knowing his history. He certainly is a very lucky boy to have such dedicated owners and equally, his owners are very lucky to have such a wonderful little dog.

Romeo and his owners have been training with us now for several years and he is working at Gold level. This little boy retrieves beautifully, he's a fantastic little search dog!

There's nothing this little Chihuahua can't do and he regularly shows the bigger dogs how it's done.

Bonnie

I was contacted by the owner after they took in Bonnie as her Second home.

She had some problems with other dogs and didn't know how to appropriately approach other dogs. 

I remember asking Bonnie's owners what would be your dream outcome. Their answer was to go for a walk with another dog. 

After many sessions together, we did indeed go for a walk with my older calm dog who gave Bonnie confidence and made her feel safe.

Bonnie is now enjoying her walks with her owners with no dramas. She has since joined our classes and she's excelling & enjoying learning new skills Including working towards her silver awards.

Balu

Balu and his lovely owner started training with us after the COVID lockdowns.

His owner was somewhat apprehensive as Balu was an older puppy In a class of younger puppies.

The owner brought Balu just before COVID arrived, making it very difficult to socialise or do any training classes.

Balu is a wonderful laid-back chap who is proving to his owner that he has talents including demonstrating the most amazing emergency stops!

He started in our 'back to basics' class and is now working towards the gold award. Balu and his owner really enjoy the social side of this wonderful group that has been together for the last few years. They have been an absolute pleasure to work with.

Rosie

Rosie and her owners joined me not long after they rescued her from Battersea Dogs Home.

Rosie is a beautiful German Shepherd who has an unknown history. She is naturally cautious by genetics.

Rosie has grown in confidence and that is down to the owner's deep commitment love care and patience. She has gone from strength to strength starting out in our back-to-basics classes and now she's on her way to get her gold award and has proven to be a fantastic scent detection dog.

Ernie

I was contacted by Ernie's owners as he was showing signs of fear and anxiety.

His triggers were other dogs, cars, bikes, scooters - anything with wheels! They had recently moved down to the New Forest area and really wanted to get out,  enjoy and explore this beautiful area and it was proving to be a problem as Ernie was not happy in many environments.

His owners were so focused and just wanted to help this little chap feel safe and confident.

We worked together for some weeks and with Ernie's owners full commitment, he is now a happy boy who enjoys regular trips out with his owner's.
